LIVE QUESTIONS ANSWERED:
- Jessica I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. I started egg retrieval meds this past Sat and am doing the IVF protocol. I am probably only going to be able to do 1 retrieval because my oncologist is pressuring me to start chemo right away. I will be freezing whatever embryos I can and then taking a long break from TTC until I finish treatments and prepare for transfers. Is there value in doing the protocols even though I can’t be trying to get pregnant? Obviously Heidi didn’t write any cancer protocols but are there any other points I can do during this time that are helpful? I really love doing the acupressure on myself and want to continue that if I can.
- Rachelle I’m still trying to determine if I have a short luteal phase and should continue low back moxa during that time. If I spot in the luteal phase, is the first day of spotting considered the end of the luteal phase? So if I started spotting on day 22, is that the end of my luteal phase? Or is it considered over when I start my first day of period bleeding?
- Kirandeep What’s the best way to confirm on ovulation phase so to predict when to have intercourse and to know when is the right time to switch from phase 2 to phase 3?
- Katie My ovulation is late (usually around day 18) and my luteal phase is short (10-11 days)- what is the recommended protocol to pull ovulation forward and lengthen my luteal phase? Thank you
- Michaela The last year/2 years my period went down to 24-26 days. Before that my cycle was a very regular 28 days without cramps. The last few months after an failed ivf it was always 24 days. After doing FAM for 3 weeks, I suddenly had a 30 day cycle. I don’t think I’ve ever had that before. Should I change anything now? I’m doing castor oil on liver, leg moxa, accupressure for liver + egg quality.
